What is Spectrum Life?

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects how individuals perceive and interact with others, leading to challenges in social communication and engagement. It is defined by differences in social interaction, sensory processing, and behavior. The term "spectrum" reflects the diverse range of symptoms and varying levels of severity. ASD characteristics fall into two main groups. The first involves social communication and interaction, such as avoiding or not maintaining eye contact, among others. The second includes restricted or repetitive behaviors and interests, like becoming upset by minor changes, insisting on strict routines, focusing on specific parts of objects, having obsessive interests, or reacting unusually to sensory experiences such as smells, tastes, sights, textures, or sounds. The universal symbol for ASD is an infinity sign.

SPECTRUM Life™ is a heartfelt and expressive product line within the ND Life™ Collection, created for individuals of all ages with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as well as the families, friends, and allies who support them. This collection blends humor, warmth, and vibrant design to capture the everyday moments — both challenging and joyful — of life on the spectrum.
